We will be taking Decopatch kits, Pottery painting kits, cards, funky bath gifts, pottery etc

We will be in tandem with Grumpy’s Sweet shop from Mostyn Street set in Llandudno come and meet Lisa and Emma and have a laugh, if you smile for long enough you are bound to get a free sweet, just don’t forget to clean your teeth afterwards!!!!!!!

We do hope you can make it, the weather appears to be set to be fine… because……..

For the Llanwrst show we spent two plus hours on the friday before, in the driving rain trying to put up a tent, a  very little tent, which fell down every other second….however we did have a really good laugh and realised it had been an amazing team buidling exercise!!!!! We would like to thank the lovely people around the show ground who helped us, especially two very tall people from Yorkshire!  Oh yes if you have a much larger tent and you would like to give two businesses who have started businesses up during the recession a leg up, we wouldn’t say no!  If it is easy to put up and prfereablly 6mt square fabulous - thank you.

Cerrigydrudion Show

What’s happening: Classes for cattle, sheep, horses, cookery, garden produce, art work and a gymkhana. Everyone is welcome to bring along old farming equipment to exhibit.

Pots2Colour can be found at Llanwrst Agricultural Show on August 21st 2010 along with friends Grumpy’s Sweet Shop,Upper Mostyn Street, Llandudno. (Grumpy’s sell a delightful range of old fashioned sweets, jams and pickles, and bottles of fascinating drinks).  Please Pots2Colour studio in Llewelyn Avenue will also be open on the 21st August. 

Pots2colour will be taking a wide range of items from pottery painting, glass painting, puppets, Decopatch kits, Teddy Bear kits and cards and gifts. 

If you have been to the studio, come and say hello we would love to see you again.  If it is your first time to the show we hope to meet you and also hope you enjoy your day.

Give  a Knome a Home!!!  (The Knome in the window stands at 14″ tall)

Have you noticed the Knome in our window?  Standing tall and proud, yes looking a little pale and colourless.   This is because he needs a home!!  He needs colour and variety in his life.  He needs garden in which he can say is his.  A pond would be nice but not an essential part of his future. 

He needs you - yes you and his family to come and paint him, to put some colour in his life and take him home. 

He is sad because his brother Leonard has gone to Manchester.  This lovely lady came and painted him and has promised him a new and exciting life. 

Please come and paint this lovely but lonely Knome - make his future brighter and dare I say  give him a a more colouful existance. Give him a name and send us a postcard.  We will be mapping the travels of our Knomes. 

Lets make this give a Knome a Home month!  Bring a little colour into the British Isles this Summer.

Glass Painting has arrived at Pots2Colour, Llandudno.  

We have a good selection of either gels or paint to colour your chosen items of glass.

At the moment we have a moderate collection of items to paint, but hope to add to this shortly

We do not charge a studio fee for glass painting. 

The charge is £10 for two items or £10 for one  large item.  This includes a hot/cold drink and a biscuit.

No pricking your fingers with needles.  Just a wonderful simple method that allows everyone to put together a teddy or soft toy.

Make one in the studio or take home in a kit.

We have 8* 10* and 15* teddies and other animals for your delight.  Comes with a star heart and adoption certificate in a smart looking bag.   Prices from £10.50

We also have a range of outfits, although they don’t need them, perhaps every bear would like to be seen in the most up to date outfits……….. prices from £4.50

This is a pop in activitiy for one or two people and booked for more than two

Decopatch is the application of fine printed paper to various materials using a special glue.  In our studio you can apply it to bisque (our paint your own pottery range) or to the Decopatch shapes that we now have in from small heart boxes and hanging hearts to cats, giraffes, dinosaurs, handbags with magnetic catches.  You can make and take within a couple of hours.  I Decopatched one of the cat shapes and I am totally pleased with the results.   Studio fee £3.50 includes 1 sheet of fine paper, glue, patchliners and studio help and a drink plus the cost of the item you wish to cover e,g, pottery or Decopatch shape/animal.

VW Camper Van Money boxes are back by popular demand.   You can put your own retro design on or we can help you develop an idea.  You can paint it in acrylics and take away a little later the same day, or paint in under glaze paints and we can glaze and fire and you can pick it up three days later - or how about having it posted back to you for a small additional amount?

So why not zoom off into the sunset with a  VW Camper Van Money box?

Puppets as craft gifts

The puppets are madefrom recycled products and come in colourful spotted canisters for take home and  given Christmas is coming up shortly they would make either stocking fillers etc. Prices £10.   We have dragons, princesses, spiders, bears, etc.  Why not pop in and have a look?

Puppets as a party option

Why not  get together a group of children and have a Puppet Making Party in the studio.  The cost is £8.50 a head and the kids get to take their puppets home there and then.  A complimentary drink is also provided for each puppet maker.

To book, pleasse call us and we can make all the arrangements for you.  A deposit of 25% of total for party is required.  We take either cheques, cash  or cards.   The number to book on is 01492 863 108

What better way of getting your kids into the tub, than by offering them the products they made at the fun Soap and Bath bomb making session at Pots2Colour.

We have lots to make, from Bath bombs large and small suitable for kids of 5 upwards - pop in a bath bomb  bag and tie with a ribbon- very like a fun session in the kitchen! Crystal Cones -  Fairy Dust.

 

For older kids we have bath bomb making and soap making (melt and pour) - We have some moulds and fun soap colours and crazy smells to put in such as Bubble gum, Fresh Linen, Baby Powder, English Rose, Honey and Orange and Wheatgerm and many others.

 

You can come and make body scrubs and shower soaps too.

 

Each session is well supervised and lots of fun and lasts one and a half hours and costs £12.50 a head.  The price includes a

complimentary drink for each bubble bonanza participant.
